The Amity Affliction “Big Ass Tour” Live at The Riverstage, Brisbane

Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction performed alongside American band A Day To Remember (Florida), Hands Like Houses (Canada) and Motionless in White (Pennsylvania) across Australia for the massive “A Big Ass Tour” back in 2015.

The Void crew travelled to Brisbane, Australia to film the electric final show of the national “Big Ass Tour.” This was a hometown gig for The Amity Affliction, who were joined side of stage by their families and friends for their headlining set. The incredible visual production and the electric energy created by the sold-out crowd of nine thousand people screaming every word was captured forever in the Void’s series of live clips, which included the songs “Don’t Lean On Me,” “FML,” and “Youngbloods.

We went backstage to talk to “The Big Ass Tour” behind the scenes crew in our  crew feature below. We spoke to Jonny Boucher of mental health awareness charity Hope For The Day about his work touring with bands to bring information to kids where they’re really listening. We also spoke to “Big Ass Tour” production manager Jacob Raggio about his history on the road. Raggio started his career under his father who was a tour carpenter for the Rolling Stones. He went on to join My Chemical Romance and Slipknot for several years, luckily balancing the two bands’ schedules as they criss-crossed the globe.
