Prior to creating The Void with Christina podcast and YouTube channel, Christina Rowatt hosted more than 110 interviews (and produced over 10 hours of video content) as the host, executive producer and lead editor of Soundwave TV, the official backstage YouTube channel of the  Soundwave Festival – Australia’s biggest rock, punk and heavy metal festival. Over four Australian East Coast festival tours, she hosted the only camera crew allowed backstage in the artists’ compound and followed the artists (including Slayer and Bring Me The Horizon) on the road, at the airport, side of stage and on the four full East Coast festival tours. On the last festival run, Christina and her production crew shot and produced 38 videos in 10 days, an Australian festival record.

Christina Rowatt started her presenting career hosting interviews for Australian music television station Channel [V]’s “Metal on [V]” program, featuring artists including Corey Taylor (267k views) and Down (119k views). As Editor of the Channel [V] website for three years, she hosted hundreds of phone and video interviews as well as covering festivals including Big Day Out, Homebake and Splendour in the Grass as a videographer and photographer.
